WHO IN THE HELL IS MICHAEL CLARK?
I always felt that I had a larger purpose in life.
In high school, I found my place in the arts—acting, speech, drama, choir, and radio news. Conventional athletics never came naturally to me, but martial arts did. Still, music was always my first love. My first kiss. One of the only true constants in my life.
I didn’t come from an easy place. I grew up in a broken home and was on my own before I even graduated. Life handed me lesson after lesson—the hard way. By every logical measure, I should’ve become a negative statistic. But I never let my past define me. What defined me was the way I survived it.
I funneled that energy into music—fronting rock bands across the Midwest for over two decades. I released seven albums, got some radio play, opened for some of my heroes, and made a lifetime of memories.
Now, this podcast is a continuation of that journey—a new stage, a new chapter. Hopefully, by finding my own peace through conversation and connection, I can help bring a little peace to others too.
These days, I’m a proud father and husband. A huge MMA junkie. Fitness enthusiast (still working on the “consistency” part). A good weekend for me includes BBQ, cheesecake, and hot wings—surrounded by the people I love.
This show is the summation of everything I’ve lived—told through the stories of people I may not always know personally, but deeply admire. The goal? To keep growing, keep learning, and invite you—my listener—to ride shotgun on this strange trip.
Let’s grow together. Thanks for being here.
